The OR Coordinator assist the Clinical Operations Manager with ensuring that quality nursing care is delivered to all surgical patients in Surgical Services in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures, and program plans of the hospital to support its strategic goals and objectives Assists with the development and coordination of patient care standards, policies and procedures, orientation and continuing education. Evaluates staff performance and participates in Performance Improvement activities. Coordinates daily operations in the operating room, and collaborates closely with the Pre/Post op Coordinator, Surgeons and Anesthesia providers to facilitate safe, efficient patient care across the perioperative continuum.
Desired Requirements:
-Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
-Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York state.
-BLS , ACLS, PALS certified
-Minimum of 5 years Perioperative Nursing/Management.
-Minimum 3 years recent experiences as an OR charge nurse/Nurse Manager.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
