Minimum License Requirement:
Home Health Aide Certificate required.
Heartsaver First Aide certified at hire or within 3 months of hire required.
Provide satisfactory evidence of all licenses and certifications required of Home Health Aides by governing laws and regulations.
Medication certification required.
One year or more experience as a Home Health Aide preferable.
Works effectively, both independently and with others.
Possess tact, discretion and diplomacy.
Ability to work under stress and complete duties.
Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co-workers.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compliance with Universal Precautions.
May need to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary.
Successful completion of 12 hours of in-service education per year.
Provide satisfactory evidence of all licenses and certifications required of Home Health Aides by governing laws and regulations.

Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.
Ability to document on medical records and patient care forms and understand printed health related material.
One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable.
Computer experience preferred.
Works effectively with others, possess tact, discretion and diplomacy.
Ability to work under stress and complete duties sometimes with numerous interruptions.
Must be able to write legibly and be able to document, accurately, type of care given.
Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co-workers.
Must be familiar with equipment used to move patients, take vital signs and document.
Ability to understand printed health related material.
BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
Physical rehab experience preferred and knowledge of FIM preferred.
