If so, our boutique law firm has a part-time opening for you.
We are seeking a dynamic, gregarious, organized, and motivated professional to create and solidify relationships within the north country business community, particularly with banks, CPAs, financial advisors, and area charities.
The successful candidate will be well-spoken, well-dressed, and present themselves in a professional manner.
They will be the company representative for functions such as Chamber of Commerce meetings, local networking events, and social events sponsored by companies and charities, such as Hospice.
They will also be responsible for attending in-person check-in meetings and setting meetings for our attorneys with potential and current referral sources.
You will work closely with the firm's attorneys, as well as our internal director of communications.
Other responsibilities include organizing and attending events in the north country that the company puts on, such as our free educational workshops and our bi-annual client appreciation luncheon.
The successful candidate must exhibit a true understanding of the importance of building and maintaining relationships and cultivating those relationships into referral sources.
A demonstrated ability to identify and organize important data points to be referenced while keeping our firm top-of-mind is crucial.
You will be required to be in the Watertown office approximately one (1) day per week to meet local staffing needs.
Will also be expected to travel to our Syracuse office on an as-needed basis.
Some office tasks, such as data entry, file creation, and copying will be part of the regular job duties.
The growth of the position is wholly dependent upon the skill, drive, desire, abilities and grit of the candidate.
Hours, scope of work and compensation will grow as a direct result of your success.
Compensation:
$18/hour
Responsibilities:
Refer to customer scripts when working through difficult situations and refer to a supervisor, if necessary Ensure customer account information is up-to-date Work closely with the sales lead to stay up-to-date on service and product knowledge Reply to incoming calls from customers including products and service questions, general information, and complaints Record customer interactions and follow up on their experience with our company

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
