5K a year WWTI-TV in Watertown, New York has an immediate opening for a Local/National Sales Assistant.
The Local/National Sales Assistant will assist with the day-to-day operations of the WWTI-TV sales department.
We will provide the necessary training for the right individual.
This is a full-time position.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Performs all clerical functions for the Sales Department Maintains awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices and procedures Enters order, traffic and accounting data using computers, ledgers, orders and other resources Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problems Prepares forms and reports Monitors inventory Maintains files and other business records Performs other duties as assigned Requirements & Skills:
Strong communication skills, both oral and written Minimum of one year's experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields Organized to efficiently perform all aspects of the job Highly motivated team player that works well with people Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Perform consistently and effectively under daily deadlines Physical Demands & Work Environment:
The sales assistant must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
