Quick Apply Full-time 11 hours ago Full Job Description The Sisters of Saint Joseph have an immediate full time position for a caring and compassionate person to perform the duties of a Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Sisters of Saint Joseph Motherhouse building and grounds.
In addition, this person must be skilled in a variety of areas including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems, plus heating and cooling systems.
Duties include lawn maintenance, mild maintenance of automobiles, snow removal, and scheduling building repairs.
Educational requirements:
1.
High school graduate or GED certificate recipient 2.
Evidence of maintenance experience 3.
Evidence of leadership qualities 4.
Strong ethical and moral character references
Experience:
1.
Minimum of three (3) years prior maintenance experience 2.
One (1) year maintenance supervisor experience 2.
One (1) year maintenance supervisor experience in a health care facility is helpful 3.
One (1) year knowledge of working in a geriatric facility is helpful 4.
Have knowledge and ability to work with necessary computerized heating and cooling systems.
