Principal Engineering Technician

Duties will include but are not limited to:
o Assist/Maintain Shared Service Agreements, Snow & Ice Contracts/ Snow & Ice coordination with municipalities, ensure timely submission to keep agreements current. o Maintain annual permits on Regional Tractor trailers. o Operations Office GIS Coordinator o Assist with data management/data filing. Examples are maintaining Regional Equipment schedule & distribution, stockpile Vendor deliveries entries of Pavement Marking Commodities. o Participate in Emergency Transportation Operation (ETO) as deemed necessary, including assisting in Regional Operation Center (ROC) / Emergency Operation Center (EOC) when active. o Participate in Regional drills, assist with their planning & development. oMaintaining Regional Emergency Response Manual annual updates. o Assist Regional Roadside Status Damage Assesment (RSDA) coordinator. - Duties to include i-pad maintenance/updates, provide training to newly interested volunteers, solicit volunteers. o Assist in purchasing materials utilizing Statewide Financial Sytem (SFS) as a Receiver. o Utilize the Maintenance Management System (MMS) for Regional asset reporting, assist in training residency staff on MMS. o Initiate Special Hauling Permits for Residency equipment moves. o Record and track Capital Maintenance projects, Regional Pavement & Culvert Management plans. o Train in Incident Command System (ICS) Roles (ICS 100,200, 300, 400, 700, 800). Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department's response to regional and statewide emergency situations.

Salary Range:
From $54903 to $69882 Annually
Minimum Qualification
To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
