Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team with basic IT knowledge.
As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for managing Datacenters specializing in Bitcoin Mining across North America, South America, and Europe.
Your primary goal will be to ensure maximum uptime at these locations by closely collaborating with on-site technicians.
This includes managing reboot lists, coordinating shipments, and deploying new units in a timely manner, with communication primarily conducted via telegram and email.
Duties:
- Provide technical support to the Sites, resolving hardware and software issues promptly - Install, configure, and maintain Antminers and Whatsminers, peripherals, and software applications - Set up and troubleshoot network connections, including DNS configurations and firewall settings - Respond to support desk tickets in a timely manner, prioritizing and resolving issues efficiently - Perform software troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems related to operating systems and applications - Analyze system logs and identify potential issues or areas for improvement - Collaborate with the IT team to implement upgrades, patches, and new software installations Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively - Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and storage systems - Experience working in a help desk or technical support environment - Ability to troubleshoot software issues and perform system analysis - Familiarity with Windows and Linux We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
